GUOB Tech Day 2025

Oracle Parallel Execution: Concepts, Types, and How to Use

GUOB Tech Day 2025 was truly special!

You can find more photos from the event here.

Almost 300 people joined us throughout the day, with four simultaneous tracks, high-level presentations, and rooms full of energy and curiosity.

I’m part of the GUOB board, helping organize this event since last year (2024), and it has been such an amazing experience. So many people giving their best to make it as great as possible. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to get closer to folks I always admired, and turning that admiration into friendship has been one of the best parts of this journey.

My first GUOB was back in 2016, and since then I haven’t missed a single edition.

This year was extra special because I had the opportunity to be on stage as a speaker, talking about the DBA's Crtl+Z (Oracle Flashback Technologies). Presenting my session to more than 100 attendees was a mix of nerves and excitement, but above all, I felt grateful—grateful for the chance to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and be part of such an amazing community.

I walked away with relief, joy, and a real sense of accomplishment. And of course, this is just the beginning—next year promises even more.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible and to all who joined us. You’re the reason GUOB keeps getting stronger year after year!

I’ll leave my presentation PDF here in case you want to review it:
